Kudos to my good friends at the Commission on Dietetic Registration. They have enabled their population to register for their curriculum-based certificate program through the same shopping cart system that they order association products from. It seems so simple, but rarely have I seen associations using an integrated system. The benefits, of course, include ease of use (members have likely already used the shopping cart before) and one-stop shopping.
Now, a really great next step would be adding amazon-like capabilities. Once they've registered for the certificate program, a listing of products and services related to the content would be suggested for purchase.
