On Wednesday of this week, the National Organization for Competency Assurance will convene approximately 70 leaders in certification for its first Credentialing Leadership Forum. The purpose of the event is to hold strategic discussions on issues impacting the credentialing industry today and in the future. It is NOCA's hope that the discussions held will provide the foundation for ongoing strategic discussions and defined objectives that will ensure the continued growth and success of the industry.
I've recruited some fellow attendees to guest blog about the event and its discussions here on Beyond Certification. So, look forward to posts from:
- Shannon Carter, CAE, Competency & Credentialing Institue
- Sara Blair Lake, JD, CAE, American Board of Audiology
- Christine Niero, PhD Professional Testing Inc.
- Chris Reidy, RD, Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Louise Wehrle, PhD, CAE ASM International
I intend to live blog from the event, although I just never know how possible that will be until I get there. The guest bloggers may also live blog, but will certainly blog post-meeting on their impressions. Are you attending and would like to be a guest blogger? E-mail me!
