One year ago the Professional Development Section Council of ASAE approved the Core Competencies for Certification Personnel. I can't believe I haven't shared them here so I'm doing so now! If you are new to certification this document is a great guide to what you should know and be able to do to be successful in your certificaiton role. If you are a supervisor of certification staff, this should be helpful to you in developing job descriptions and/or performance expectations or planning ongoing learning opportunities for your staff.
